I can not login to the statistical server. What can be the problem?
- Check your connection to the Internet. For login to the server you have to have a functional connection to the Internet.
- Find out if you are not connected to the Internet through a proxy server or if you do not have activated firewall. In such case you have to set connection through a proxy server in a client, or to modify setting of a firewall in such way that it will permit outgoing communication on a port of the server, standard 4261. If you do not know how to do it, contact your network administrator or write to support@magicreport.net.
- Check, if you have selected a correct server, on which you have your measuring account created and verify the correctness of a login name and password.
Statistical reports do not display any data. What is the cause?
- Do you have correctly configured data collection for you statistical account? If not, contact your webmaster.
- If you download statistical data to your computer, are they downloaded OK? Select the command Read new data from the menu Server. Wait for the end of download and try it again.
- Did your page have any accesses in a required period? Has it been measured by the system MagicReport during this period?
- Check the setting of data filter, if you do not have set such conditions, which can not be fulfilled.
- Check the setting of MIME type of views, which has to be text/html for www pages and text/vnd.wap.wml for wap pages.
- Some statistical reports require insertion of a HTML code into a measured page. If you do not have this code, contact your provider of services.
- If problems persist, contact your provider of web services or write to support@magicreport.net.
MagicReport Server does not collect data to any created account, neither you can not connect to it from a client. Administration of the server runs without problems. What is the problem?
Problem is in an invalid licence. Either the licence expired or IP address, or name of the server computer changed. Look at log file of the server. Then make sure, if there is a functional HTTP connection for verification of licence number on the computer, on which the server is running.
